Holy Mountain

Misha Hering saw Sunday Mourning supporting Moss and suggested we come record at Holy Mountain studio. Misha specializes in beefy, fat, valve cranked sounds (the sleep reference says it all really.) We invited our friend Estasy to recorded a split consisting of a 20 minute original song and a stretched out rework of our favourite Roky Erickson track, opting for a full collaboration on both tracks rather than the usual one side each. Highlights included playing Rhodes through a Sunn model T, getting happy and introducing hints of optimism to our otherwise slightly sordid music. The experience was so positive we'll more than likely be releasing the split before summer and touring it off the back of releases of our respective albums.
